Re: Coalfield Progress 2008 Football Preview
I hope that he's found to be eligible to play for JIB before hand and it don't come back to bite them in the rear later in the season.....that has happened to Clintwood a few yrs ago I do believe..
Re: Coalfield Progress 2008 Football Preview
Whom ever he moves into with has to have custody of him. It does not have to be his parents.
Re: Coalfield Progress 2008 Football Preview
Just remember that everything is still hearsay up to this point. Especially the DB part, or whether or not he will be eligible to suit up at JIB.

Yes and know Just being the Guardian is NOT enough
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body"> (5) The appointment of a legal guardian will not render a student immediately eligible
in the school to which he/she transfers except in the case of the death of his/her parents,

ordered by a court of competent jurisdiction in which case he/she becomes eligible immediately. </div></div>
Re: Coalfield Progress 2008 Football Preview
Is it just me or does the supplement suck this year? Much less info,quotes...etc. Ever since the Cornfield Regress jacked the price, they have given us less.

Re: Coalfield Progress 2008 Football Preview
I am sure whatever happens thoughout the whole process that JI Burton will do it by the books. There are too many people watching especially a certain someone from PV I am sure. Jimbo will do the right thing, there is too much on the line not too.
Burton has had a few games taken away from them for an ineligable player ('93 I think) which cost them 7 or 8 games and maybe a LPD Title if I am not mistaken. Coach Adams was an assistant on that squad so I am sure he is well aware of the consiquences.
